Baka Entertainment is a creative production company from the Dominican Republic focused on photography, film, and the creation of purposeful visual content.
We were born from the idea that an image can do much more than just look good: it can tell a story, preserve a moment, evoke an emotion, and remain in our memory. Our work seeks to explore the human condition, emotions, and those small moments that often go unnoticed, transforming them into stories capable of connecting honestly with people.
We believe in light, color, sound, silence, and composition as tools to build atmospheres and convey emotions. Each project is an opportunity to experiment, find new ways of telling stories, and continue developing our own visual identity.
Our vision is to make Baka Entertainment a space where film, photography, and different forms of visual expression coexist, creating our own projects and collaborating with artists, brands, and people who share our passion for creating something meaningful.

SEBASTIÁN SOLANO "BAKA"
Founder · Director of Photography · Photographer · Filmmaker · Colorist
Sebastián Solano Larrauri, also known as Baka, is a cinematographer, photographer, and colorist from the Dominican Republic. Trained at Chavón School of Design and in Guerrilla's camera assistant workshop, he found in film a way to transform his interest in images into a tool for storytelling.
His work explores cinematography, photography, and color from a minimalist, symbolic, and introspective perspective, using light, color, silence, time, and composition to build atmospheres and convey emotions. As a cinematographer, he has worked on projects such as Ciudad de Fantasma (2023), Marea (2024), Un Son Descalzo (2025), Manan (2025), Santa Aura (2026) and the documentary Power (2026, yet to be released). As a colorist, his recent works include Santa Aura, Inmarcesible, Raíces, Lázaro, Aquí Estoy, A.M. y La Banca.
As a creator, Baka seeks to develop his own unique vision and create images that forge an emotional connection with the viewer, exploring the human condition, nature, and emotions through film, photography, and color.
